Position: Programme Manager

Duration: March 2015 + possible extension

Volume: 100% (1 day home office possible upon a agreement with the client)

Project description:
Our client is working in the department Group Commercial. Because of heavy workload, the programme management team needs external support. The Programme Manager needs to have a technical background to understand the project goals and is able to coordinate between the local markets focussed on the technical delivery of platforms.
Tasks/Daily business:
- Programme management: leading large projects + programmes, and taking ownership of the outcomes.
- Reporting to senior management: preparing and delivering presentations and progress reports.
- Reporting to the local markets and service provider
- Escalation management: resolving programme-related conflicts and issues; following the escalation process where required
- Resource management
- Ensuring the projects within a programme meet their targets for timeliness, quality and budget.
- Controlling change and maintaining the programme integrity.
- Building trusted relationships with all stakeholders inside and outside.
Required Skills:
- Very good Programme Management/senior Project Manager skills
- Strong Stakeholder management knowledge
- Must Have:telecommunication background
- Life Cycle Management knowledge required
- Forward-looking/thinking mentality
- ITIL certification (Prince2, PMI are nice-to-have)
- Technical/IT background
- Experienced with coordinating multiple project managers
- Good communication skills: ability to adopt to individual communication styles
Used tools: SharePoint, MS Project 2010, Excel, Remedy
