My client is looking for a BA to work as a member of the project team on a key migration programme to focus on the Finance workstream. The candidate will be from a Life and Pensions or at very least a financial services background and will have an accountancy background and/or qualification.They will assist by leading the analysis of business requirements through all phases of the project and providing solutions and technical support.
This work includes:
- Scoping and planning within this project;
- Working with project management on identification of business priorities and solution proposals;
- Assisting the Finance workstream lead providing technical direction and support;
- Developing business solution proposals and recommending resolutions on a cost/benefit basis based on workstream requirements;
- Business Requirements Specification (analysis, creation and sign off);
- Project Implementation support;
- Post Implementation Project Support;
- Identifying and solving business change or process issues; and
- Report progress to ensure overall direction and technical integrity of the project.
Key Accountabilities
- To lead/support the analysis of business problems and the production of appropriate requirements/business solution documentation.
- To support Finance with the development of procedures, evaluation of organisational changes and design/assessment/delivery of training prior to any implementation.
- Enhance the customer experience and cost efficiencies through leading process reviews and improvements.
- To participate/lead formal review of project deliverables to ensure they meet the needs of all parties involved in the project.
- To contribute to the workstream planning process.
- To provide post implementation project support and contribute to the overall project review.
- Management of risks/issues/changes within each phase of the project and where appropriate dependencies between workstreams.
- All of the above activities to follow the appropriate standards and project methodology.
