Field Service Engineers, Germany
Hamburg/Bremen (4x), Eschborn/Kaiserslautern (2x), Cologne (2x)
We are looking for a number of field service engineers to work on a contract basis for an international telecommunications vendor working throughout Germany.
The role is to provide first line support and necessary expertise to resolve a backlog of issues escalated from front line diagnostics. Corrective maintenance will be carried out to fix or adjust significant equipment faults and defects, including the required replacement of units, boards, components and modules.
We are looking for Field Service Engineers that have strong wireless (GSM/UMTS) knowledge, a background working on wireless networks such as BTS or NodeB that includes installation, commissioning, integration, testing and maintenance. Knowledge of transmission systems from SIAE ALC & ALS, Huawei RTN and Siemens SRAL is required.
The role will be predominately working outdoors on roofs and poles therefore applicants will need to verify they can work at heights with the G41 certificate and be able to provide their own climbing equipment (PSA) as well as basic tools. The role will be travelling around different locations therefore access to vehicle for work purposes will be needed working a normal day of 08:00 - 17:00
English language skills are essential, basic German language skills are highly desirable.
