Initially 6 month, Long Term Contract

Introduction

We are working with a specialist in the development of satellite systems. For a long term project, they are looking for someone to become EGSE Responsible.

Duties

*Evaluation of requirements for the EGSE in cooperation with the system engineering

*Design and definition of EGSE

*Establishment of validation plan (DDV-Plan)

*Report to the customer within milestone reviews

*Support the procurement process, mainly for technical issues

*Preparation of specifications

*Participation in reviews with the suppliers

*Involvement in the acceptance process

*Planning and execution of system acceptance and system integration

*Training of AIT personnel for EGSE usage

Experience Required

*A degree in electrical engineering, aerospace technology, physics or comparable qualification

*Some years of experience in satellite AIT or EGSE use

*Knowledge of ECSS standards for testing and verification of software and hardware

*Knowledge in Space Craft Checkout Systems (CCS), preferably running under SCOS 2000 Version 3.1 (TOPE), are an asset

*Experience in EGSE validation

*High motivation and commitment to the project

*Used to tough project targets and challenges

*Well-developed communication skills and hands-on mentality

*Excellent conceptual and analytical skills

*Fluency in spoken and written English
