A leading Medical machine manufacturer is actively seeking a Release - Configuration Management Engineer for a long term contract in Dornstadt.
In order to improve the Build Process implementation of the Radiology Information Program and additional Configuration Management Engineer is requested. You will be working in a Scrum Team of 5 Engineers, which will interact with a product owner, the engineering manager, architect, and other teams as part of the development process. The scrum team will work with scrum methodology, with sprints of 2 weeks and will have to work according to the same design process.
The project is about improving the development Build and Release Process Automation based on Jenkins Build Jobs, execution of manual build jobs and system updates.
The scope of the project is to analyze the actually semi-automated Build Jobs and implement improvements for automating the Software Build Process.
Expected deliverables:
Build Jobs: Jenkins Build Jobs
Source code: All code will have to be produced directly on the engineering development environment.
Technical documentation: Technical documentation has to be provided according to the engineering guidelines(system requirements, test cases, product design documents)

Essential Responsibilities
-Management and maintenance of the Build Processes
-Develop and maintain automated Build and Deployment Scenarios
-Defining procedures and tools for field modifications
-Execution of manual deployment scenarios
-Owning product and subsystem requirements related to serviceability and diagnosis
-Execution and documentation of Oracle Database Installations and Updates
-Defining technical procedures for service personnel
Qualifications/Requirements
-Knowledge in Release-, Build- and Change Management
-Java and C# programming
-Jenkins CI
-Windows Installer Technology (MSI and Installshield)
-TCP/IP Networks
-Microsoft Windows Server (2003 and 2008) and Client Operating Systems
-Administration of virtual systems (Server and Clients)
-DBA for Oracle Database Servers (Release 10g, 12c)
-Basic knowledge of logical and physical DBMS design
Strong communication skills in English
