Rize are currently looking for a German speaking IP/MPLS Engineer to work on a contract basis in Germany. We are looking for the candidate to have a minimum of 3 years experience in the Datacom area and it would be a bonus to have exposure to the Huawei CX600 product. For this position we require you to speak fluent German. If you have worked on a Telefonica Germany project this would also be preferable.
Responsibilities:
- Transmission MPLS Configuration Consultant - Routers, Backbone
- Plan parameters and configure MPLS backbone for network evolution and LTE Backhaul expansion.
- Back Office support.
- Knowledge of Protocols such ISIS, BGP, OSFP.
- Background with Cisco, Juniper, Huawei Routers.
- Must be German speaking due to coordination with local installers.
- Datacom experience - does not need to be an expert but basic understanding
- German Market experience preferred
- MPLS Backbone experience
- Attitude is key; they want a dynamic, flexible candidate, who can work independently
