Contract: Automation tester: Munich: English speaking
Urgent contract for an automation test specialist for a project based in Munich.
We're looking for someone who can automate tests, and use your Java coding experience to design, implement and use cucumber. We will also need someone who is comfortable contributing to the development team also.
You will be joining a team who work in an Agile, Scrum environment and experience within this environment including BDD will be needed.
Due to deadlines you must be able to interview this week, with a start date within September.
A suitable automation tester will have the following experience:
- Functional testing experience
- Java coding experience (for unit testing, cucumber and other frameworks)
- Be able to support Java based regression Unit-Tests
- Monitor existing automated tests to ensure all tests are passing
- Experience in test scenario creation
- Knowledge and experience with Back End testing (ie test batch jobs)
- Experience in re-factoring existing tests including migration between test frameworks
- Experience in application bug analysis (and be able to fix minor ones)
- Relational database experience such as Oracle
- Knowledge and experience of version control systems
- Agile development/tester background
- Knowledge of Intellij is also beneficial!
