Our customer is an international telecommunications company, involved in the R&D of cutting-edge mobile technologies. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a System Debugger
Project Start: 01.09.2014
Project duration:31.12.14 initially
Location: Munich
Task Description:
- Troubleshoot, investigate and root-cause errors on mobile platforms
- Debug complex Embedded systems, modems and application CPUs
- Optimize mobile platforms with respect to data throughput, CPU load, power consumption, memory foot-print (performance optimization)
- Investigate failures of the system integration quality gate test cases
- Review designs and code changes
- Ensure process compliance and proactively improve workflows, best practices and integration tools
- Analysis reports of the crashes or stem misbehaviours tickets assigned for investigation
Your Skills:
- Android Integration experience between Application and Modem processor
- Linux Kernel
- Familiar with driver, platform SW, DMA, IPC, interrupt handling
- 2G, 3G, LTE ia a bonus
- Embedded systems development, preferably in mobile telecommunications
- JNI (Java Native Interface)
- Experience in transporting Linux software on to Android beneficial
- Fluent English required
