On behalf of a leading telecommunications company we are searching for a Software Architect (M/F) who has hands-on commercial experience in Operation & Maintenance architecture and solution designing in Software Distributed Networks or Cloud computing fields; ideally within the telecoms industry. The duration of this project is, initially, for 3 months but with extensions likely. The role can be home based but travel to Munich and China will likely be required. Candidates must have a valid EU passport.Role responsibilities
-Design architecture and solutions for O&M software systems
-Fault monitoring and recovery
-Serve as the functional and technical project expert
-Software deployment, upgrades and patches
-Gather specifications and requirements (hardware, network, software & security)
-Handle change requests
-Document all operational issues
-Design competitive architecture and features for NFV/SDN systems
-Responsible for conception, prototype design and verification of high serviceability O&M architecture and features for NFV/SDN systems and Cloud-computing
Requirements
-Commercial experience of working with Virtualization, Big Data and Service quality management
-Rich knowledge and rich hands-on experience of virtualization systems (NFV/SDN/Cloud-computing) developing;
-Hands-on experience of distributed system architecture design (especially Operation & maintenance fields)
-Experience of Linux/C/C++/Java/Python/Ruby is be preferred
-Ability to develop test conditions
-Ability to develop application requirements and feedback to the business
-Ability to analyze clients needs
-Solutions design experience
