Bosshard & Partner is looking with Mandate 2597for a Senior Support Analyst (f/m)
Project environment
You will work effectively within the global support group and development groups within IB and other divisions of a global Swiss Bank on daily basis.
Tasks
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support of the Portfolio of applications in various environments.
• Application process Management.
• Management of infrastructure, continual process improvement.
• Management of Production Incidents.
• Performance and Capacity management.
• Application deployments and configuration in all supported environments.
• Understand and respond appropriately to the needs of internal clients who are encountering systems difficulties related to software.
Requirements
• A degree in Information Technology/ Software engineering.
• 3- 4 years of technical experience supporting time critical applications.
• Use technical and analytical expertise and knowledge of systems to resolve problems internally or through outside vendors and manufacturers.
• Specialist level of knowledge on Unix, Unix scripting and programing skills, Wintel OS exposure.
• Exposure to additional technologies such as Middleware IBM MQ, Tibco RV, EMS and MSSQL would be advantages.
Soft skills
• Ability to support multi-tiered environment.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and an aptitude for all levels of Support work.
• Maintain the bank’s standards and professional approach, especially when under pressure.
• An independent worker who prefers to remain a high level technology specialist.
• Accustomed to work in international and multicultural teams.
• Manage client expectations, build relationships and communicate effectively with both business partners and other stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
• The successful candidate needs to be a good communicator effectively in English, both spoken and written.
