Operations Analyst (m/w) – Data Protection
Beschreibung:
The Chief Information Security Organisation (CISO) is responsible for actively managing risk in order to ensure security of IT infrastructure. Here, a Data Leakage Protection (DLP) solution based on different technologies has been deployed in order to reduce risk from losing confidential information of the Bank and its clients.
We require an operations analyst to identify and undertake the technical support requirements for a global data leakage prevention solution. The individual will work with the business service and engineering team to understand the support requests and respond to them on a day-to-day basis that our team receives from the business within the scope of Data Leakage Protection.
For this role experience to work with ticket systems, data bases, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint), change management tools are required. Furthermore, the capability to prioritize different tasks is a must as the environment the individual will work in is quite complex:
- Distributed team where decision making is spread across organisational boundaries
- Working in an the organisation which has > 100,000 workstations
- Understanding of multi-organisation complex outsourced support model
- Making decisions where no direct access to production system is available
- DBA (development) in Oracle (or DB2 or MS SQL) skills
There are two key tasks that the Operations Analyst needs to support.
Firstly, knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy Objects as well as knowledge of operating systems in particular registry keys are required. Understanding of Data Leakage Prevention based on Symantec Endpoint Protection (Anti-Virus solution) will be helpful.
As second task capability to quickly adopt already defined technical processes and to work together with distributed teams will help to investigate the according individual technical solution for a service request. Furthermore, knowledge how to deploy and bring a certain functionality into production (engineering knowledge) will be required e.g. to raise change request.
The individual would need to have understanding of Network and Endpoint concepts and HTTP/ HTTPS and SMTP protocols. Good investigative and analytical skills are a must.
The individual will interface directly with pretty much all business lines and all titles within the organization. Good communication skills are a must.
Anforderungen: Technical:
- Experience with MS Windows and MS Windows Server operating system
- Very good knowledge on Active Directory Group Policy Objects, Registry Keys, Power Shell or other Microsoft compatible scripting language, MS IIS and Java Tomcat web server
- Experience working with Microsoft Office tools, MS Sharepoint, Lotus Notes and various web-based tools
- Testing experience required
Strong Excel experience (pivot tables - a plus)
Project lifecycle experience a plus
Security: Basic Knowledge of IT-Security and Cryptography, preferable Date Leakage Prevention (DLP) technologies, IT-Security Compliance and digital certificate management
Analysis
Good investigative and analytical skills a must
Other
Strong communication skills
Ability to summarize support results in short response texts
Good written and spoken English
Ability to work independently
