Our client in Berlin is looking for a freelancer with these skills:
- several years of experience in the administration of high availability web systems within a Linux environment
- Solid bash Scripting skills and expertise in programming in at least one of the languages Perl, Python, Java or C/C++
- Excellent knowledge of system monitoring systems such as Icinga, Munin, Nagios, Monit
- Deep knowledge of configuration management with Puppet, Chef, CFEngine or comparable systems
- Experience with continuous integration(CI) systems, DNS, nginx web Servers is an added advantage
- Proficiency with networking, TCP/IP and data communication technology.
- Administration of Postgres or MongoDB is a plus
- Implementation of reliable backups and data recovery
- Good communication skills and English
