JOB DESCRIPTION:
The major focus will be on those that have either Xamarin experience, or Apache Cordova (PhoneGap) experience on the development framework side. Also, those that have worked on Citrix XenMobile MaM solutions for enterprise that help secure your apps is a very large plus.
The Technical Lead is responsible for leading a team of permanent and contract developers during the development phase of a project. The Technical lead will create and review technical design documentation based on system and functional requirements. Additionally monitor progress toward goal, support developers, as well as conduct peer code reviews. The Mobile Technical Lead will act as a subject matter expert, assisting leadership with technical strategy and provide consistency in approach and technology among developers.
The Mobile Technical Lead is expected to have broad experience in designing and developing applications for iOS, Android, HTML5, responsive design/development and where the market is moving towards with hybrid and future native web apps.The tech lead is also expected to have a strong understanding of mobile UI/UX.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Lead development team during proof of concept and development effort
Receive direction and provide detailed walk throughs with Engineering management, Architects, and Service Delivery Managers
Create & review technical designs documentation
Collaborate with product owners, project management, UI/UX designers and development teams
Code review during delivery phase
Bring talents into play during proof of concept and development effort and application deployment support
Strong experience with Webservices and security token integration, creation and troubleshooting
Basic Qualifications:
Experience leading development teams
Experience building complex applications for iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Windows Store
Strong mobile development skill set with hands on experience in regards to Xamarin, and Cordova (Phone gap)
Strong HTML5 and JavaScript experience especially in a mobile specific context
Thorough grasp on mobile first design philosophies
Experience with RESTful frameworks such as Asp.NET Web Api, or Ruby Sinatra
Experience working with UI and Back End developers, specifically within the .NET framework.
Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases.
Experience architecting technical designs based on functional and business requirements.
Experience in device debugging for issues while in dev, and also in the field.
Proven ability to manage development team members and assigned tasks to meet agreed timelines/milestones
Experienced/Familiar with Iterative Project Management methodologies/processes based on PMI PMBOK
Optional:
Experience working with enterprise MAM solutions such as Citrix XenMobile
Experience working with CitrixWorx.
