CIO-level Interim IT Strategy Manager - Must be German-speaking - 6 months initially
euro; Excellent Rate
Consulting with external CIO/CEOs on long-term strategies within IT technology services.
Your responsibilities:
* You and your team will advise top clients, strategically in the key priorities of their IT strategy, shaping the CIO agenda and thence becoming their primary, trusted advisor
* With your experience in IT strategy consulting, you are the first point of contact for the CxOs of the customers of our client.
* You report to the Head of Application Lifecycle Services division and are a key member of the management team of this Division.
* Acquisition and Matrix management of multiple projects at senior management level; as well as close co-operation with the sales and account teams and consultants, as an important additional aspect of the role.
* Setup and management top consultant teams for CxOs in the areas covered (IT strategy, digital transformation and technology-driven business innovation, social media, mobility, analytics and cloud strategies, cost efficiency and sourcing, shoring and supplier consolidation, agility and IT processes, IT industrialization and modernization)
* Within technology services you are responsible for the design of the strategy consultancy.
* Dealing with CIOs and top decision-makers within high-profile international corporations
* Within the management of our customers: ensure the performance of CIO advisory services, plan the performance focus, prioritize the consulting offerings and build appropriate capacities.
* In addition, for our customers, there is cross-selling, demand creation and implementation of appropriate campaigns for the further development of guidance provision.
* You will manage directly a team of 8 employees - and can expand it accordingly.
Qualifications required:
* An excellent university degree (master or diploma) in Informatics, Business Informatics or business studies.
* Experience in the management of strategic IT consulting projects from one of the leading consulting firms, especially with a focus on digital transformation and enabling technologies.
* Experience of the direction and management of an IT strategy consulting unit as well as management and counselling skills.
* You must have excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
* You have a robust network at C-level and are used to communicating at this level.
* Experience in the field of large outsourcing projects is beneficial.
* You have a broad market expertise - across various sectors.
* Utilise your entrepreneurial spirit, integrity and skill at negotiating at a challenging senior level
* Ability to maximise utilisation of your team with projects and to maximise cross-selling to create potential sales for colleagues within other areas.
You must be fluent in German and English
