Network Security Analyst - Checkpoint Firewalls SecurID CISM CISSP - Investment Bank
Network Security Analyst with a strong technical background in IT security is necessary since the position will frequently requires risks analysis before taking decisions that may impact the security of the Bank. Must have experience in Checkpoint suite included Firewalls, Fortinet Firewalls and Tufin SecurTrack/SecureChange. Strong skills and working knowledge of reverse Proxy. Strong network acknowledge on TCP/IP, LAN, WAN and security network principle, compliance network rules. Experience in Security Best practices, in network threat and vulnerabilities. Security qualification such as CISM, CISSP.
Desirables: Knowledge of HP TippingPoint & Unix system eg Solaris, Splat and Windows. SecurId and ACE Server and HSM. Knowledge on Scripting.
Role:
The Network Security Analyst will mainly be in charge of maintaining and improving the level of the infrastructure with the management of the Firewalls and its related component and the architecture review. Specific workflows, change requests and controls are in place for the audit and traceability purposes.
Key responsibilies include:
- Administration of the Firewalls: policies implementations, daily houseclean up, regular rules review and cleanup, maintain the Firewalls to up-to-date version, support for incident,
- Administration of dedicated infrastructures: policies implementations on the Firewalls, antivirus and patches, web filtering
- Administration of Firewalls tools such as SecureTrack/SecureChange: review validation workflow, optimize the usage of tool options and audit, set regular report for daily cleanup and rules usage and audit
- Administration of reverse-Proxy, Proxy socks for the rulebase
- Administration of the IDS
- Manage the workload to a reasonable level
- Oncall duty
- Support IT production teams on security best practice
- Assessment of infrastructure and applications; make sure security model and principle are followed on the application level, on the network level, between inter and intra DMZs, validate network flows for the Firewalls rules implementation
- Perform gap analysis on the infrastructure and application for the new and current projects
- Be uptodate with new trend and technologies and the security impact and solution to mitigate the risk, threat and vulnerabilities
