Optimus Search is eager to speak with a Software Consultant on behalf of our client, a leading engineering company based in Munich, Germany.
This is a 12 month project in which you will be working in the Embedded Solutions Business Unit and responsible for the development of low-level software for a range of custom ARM-based chipsets for safety critical applications (primarily automotive and medical).
The focus will be on Embedded Linux based solutions so previous experience within this area is highly desirable.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5 years+ experience in Embedded Software Development preferably in C (C++ or Assembly considered)
- Linux Kernel/driver or User Application or equivalent RTOS experience
- Experience with communications (Ethernet, TCP/IP) and/or security protocols
- Knowledge of virtualisation technologies such as KVM, QEMU, VMware
- Understanding of the ARM architecture
- Degree in Electronics, Software Engineering or related field
