For an assignment at a client we are looking for aSenior Software Engineer (Unser Interface)
Begin: asap
End: April 2015 (with renewal option)
Location: Upper lake of Zurich
Objective:
Design and develop software for our client's internal and external fitting software and related software.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Elaborate software requirements together with requirements engineer and project leaders
- Analyze requirements and create software design with appropriate level of details as basis for implementation
- Ensure architectural qualities and extend architecture together with software architects
- Elaborate user interface design and user interaction together with designer and product manager, develop early prototypes
- Implement new software features and corresponding tests
- Integrate new software features with software engineers of other systems (fitting domain, device provider, web backend)
- Continuously maintain, refactor, bugfix code base
- Maintain and further develop the continuous delivery and release chain
- Continuously improve personal and group wide development process
- Create intellectual property
- Ensure that development practices are compliant with best practices and Sonovas standard operating procedures (SOP): Fitting Software SOP, System Integration SOP, IEC 62304, IEC62366
Requirements:
- Higher level software science or engineering degree (Bachelor or Master)
- 5 years of experience as software engineer
- Experience in analysis, concept definition and implementation of software structures
- Experience with state of the art software development technologies and tools
- Excellent analytical skills
- Able to structure and finish work
- Highly motivated, proactive, willing to perform
- Credible, team player, positive thinking
- Very good communication skills, able to find the individual communication channel and abstraction level when communicating
- Understanding of software design methodologies including OOA/OOD, UML
- Understanding of software design principles. SOLID
-Understanding of architectural design principles.
- Preferably experience in .NET C#, WPF, XAML
- Good German and English skills in both verbal and written
The following skills / experiences would be advantageous:
- Further education in interaction design
- Experience working as part of a SCRUM team
- Willing to foster and further develop team and processes
