Business Analyst Banking (m/w)
Position Objectives:
• Key involvement with various aspects of the requirements design process
• Definition and documentation of internal and external user interfaces and support for system and data requirement clarification and definition
• Support for prototyping activities that will validate business requirements, solution definition and minimize risk
• Works directly with business customers and the applications development team to define solutions to business issues
• May assist in quality assurance and defining testing strategy and risks
• Work is project-oriented and actual tasks must be defined by employee
• Has a solid understanding of overall business and corporate objectives and works under broad project direction with the ability to self-define specific tasks
• Uses judgment and creativity and sound technical knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions
• Interfaces directly with senior management where required
• Understands and promotes cutomers policy on Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
• Takes a hands on approach to project work and is adaptable in terms of style and activities undertaken
Qualifications &Experience:
• Degree level educated or equivalent experience
•Availability to travel internationally for business purposes, potentially for extended periods (up to 1 month)
Skills & Knowledge:
• Knowledge of the system requirements definition (RD) processes and modeling methods and tools
• Knowledge of conceptual and logical modeling and the associated tools
• Outstanding communication skills in both written and spoken format.
• Outstanding customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to support prototyping activities that will validate business requirements and solution definition
• Ability to apply general organizational knowledge of the business and systems processes in problem analysis
