Task description
- Handling tickets / requests
- Perform root cause analysis
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Oversees and is responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration
- Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA
- Responsible for building / maintaining a test environment.
- Responsible for strategizing a backup plan and test plan for failure scenario
- Planning Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7 operation support
- Testing / Auditing/processes as required from time to time
Skills
- Oracle Installation and recommendation for new installations
- SAP Database support knowledge
- Knowledge on SAP Database cloning and backup
- Knowledge on BRTOOLS, BRBACKUP, BRARCHIVE is must
- Migrating SAP databases on different platforms
- Knowledge and troubleshooting of Backup issues related to Business copy
- Strong knowledge on Unix Scripting
- Experience in Using Quest Foglight for Oracle tool for Monitoring
- Must have knowledge on HP Service guard w.r.t. Oracle Database for High Availability
- Strong experience in Performance Tuning and finding bottlenecks
- Strong knowledge on Dataguard/Golden Date and SAP databases
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on SAP databases replication and migration
- Excellent communication skills in German language
