Project environment
A global Swiss Bank is looking for a Java / J2EE Developer (f/m) in the area of Credit Risk Solutions. The applications are based on the newest technologies in the area of J2EE, Oracle and Unix (Sun Solaris).
Tasks
• Analysis, Design and Implementation of the applications.
• Structured, systematic Analysis and Design based on UML 2.0.
• Technical Maintenance and Support of a very complex environment / application.
Requirements
Must have:
• Several years of experience as a Java / J2EE engineer with experience in the standard technologies such as EJB, JMS, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, and XML.
• Several years of experience in object-oriented analysis and design (OOA/OOD) based on UML.
Nice to have:
• Experience with the platform IBM WebSphere Application Server.
• Software development following RUP, Scrum or a similar risk based or agile approach.
Soft skills
• Good English skills, German is a plus.
• Capability of quickly comprehending issues and challenges arising during the software development process, both conceptually and technically.
• Problem solving in a structured and coordinated manner (with results reflected in the output of the work packages).
• Independence, reliability, ability to work under pressure as well as a dedication towards a high degree of quality.
• Good team player.
