Project Engineer - BiotechA global biotech company is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to support a major expansion project for their biotech facility.
Seeking a highly motivated individual to function as a client representative coordinating with the contractor and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will report to the overall project manager and ensure technical aspects of the project are delivered on time to a high standard.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Oversee and coordinate small - medium projects full life cycle on the biotech expansion programme.
• Supervise 3rd party contractors and suppliers to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a liaison position between the client technical projects manager and 3rd parties involved ensuring correct standards are met, time constraints and delays are communicated and mitigated and that the project is completed to the correct GMP standards.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders across production, automation and QA to ensure smooth delivery of the projects.
• Provide technical input and knowhow based upon knowledge and experience of the pharmaceutical industry, specifically manufacturing equipment.
• May be required to write documents, including for example, SOPs, Guidance documents etc.
Requirements:
• Pharmaceutical Project or Process Engineering background
• Experience working in a biotech environment essential
• Strong technical knowledge of biotech equipment including filtration, chromatography and fill/finish.
• Knowledge of microbial biotech processes very desirable.
• Able to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders from various different backgrounds.
• Fluent German language skills, essential.
• Knowledge of English language, desirable.
