Freelancer as Market Access Expert / 0.6 FTE (3 days/week) / Home Based/on-site / As soon as possibleFor an international pharmaceutical company I am looking for a freelancer as Corporate Market Access Specialist for Pricing, Reimbursement, Health Economics. You should be available for 0.6 FTE (3 days) per week for the next 6 month (could be longer) as soon as possible.
Your tasks are:
- Support price and reimbursement applications in various countries by: determining product-specific national requirements for market access in cooperation; with marketing and the local organisations; answering questions from the affiliates on our strategy; adapting the corporate strategy in regard to country-specific requirements; developing new lines of argumentations for aspects that are not yet covered by available documents and reviewing local applications in collaboration with medical, marketing and statistics
- Contribute to the development of new core value dossiers by giving input in regard to potential strategies, advising external experts and by writing parts of the socioeconomic sections
- Support adaption and development of local budget impact models and other socioeconomic evaluations
- Support strategic pricing decisions by assessing the impact on the European price structures
- Management of ongoing projects as well as of adhoc requests
- Wide range of therapeutic indications, with a focus on allergy/respiratory and dermatology
Client requirements are:
- (Health) economic background with additional qualification in sciences or the other way round
- Experience in either market access, pricing or health economics
- Experience working in global markets. Understanding of the various pricing and reimbursement systems, HTA requirements and financing mechanisms
- Excellent knowledge in MS Excel
- Experience in medical writing
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), ability to speak German is a plus
Location: Middle of Germany (home office possible)
Start date: as soon as possible
Hourly Rate: Negotiable
Hours per week: 0.6 FTE (3 days/week)
End date: April 2015
