Für einen bestehenden Auftrag bei einem unserer Direktkunden suchen wir eine(n)Technical Senior Project Manager SAP ByDesign Implementation (m/w)

As Technical Senior Project Manager SAP ByDesign Implementation you will take over product delivery responsibility done by a partner (e.g. SAP) take responsibility for the delivery of the technical configuration and roll-out of the SAP Business ByDesign for two companies of the client for the whole project lifecycle
The group of the client is executing a SAP Business ByDesign implementation project in several countries sequentially; the first country will be China. The project is based on SAP standards and the clients IT Applications is driving the technical part of the roll out project and for the implementation this solution.
Before the project can go into a realization phase, the pre-study phase has to be closed by creating a PID – Project Initiation Document following the principles of PINCE2. After the creation of this document containing the details scope, detailed project organization, rough timeline and deliverables, the project authorization can be done. After this the implementation can be started.
Your tasks:
• Conversation with stakeholders suppliers and functional leaders within organization
• Manage day-to-day client interaction, set and manage client expectations, communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
• Manage day-to-day supplier interaction, control deliverables and lead deliverables of the supplier to an acceptance
• Create to use structure by using specific tools such as charters, risk assessments, Gantt charts, decision matrices and many other tools throughout the project
• Document, review and communicate project deliverables and ensure quality before passing it to the client
• Track and control the project scope, execute the project change management process from a technical perspective
• Create high-level implementation plan and clearly identify the external resources (suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, etc.), financial resources (support needed from functional departments etc.) financial resources and core project team members for the technical delivery part
• Define delivery items for external suppliers and manage ordering and acceptance process
• Create a detailed implementation plan that includes milestones deliverables and project update meetings at the appropriate points in time
• Formally close out the project after completion and review results / lessons learned for future projects
Your skills:
• 5+ years in senior IT Management roles working within large, complex multinational organizations
• 5+years’ experience in working in matrix organizations with geographically dispersed teams
• 5+years’ experience in working in IT projects / SAP Business ByDesign projects and / or related activities
• Proven prior experience performing all Software implementation / Assistant Project Manager responsibilities and functions for SAP Business Suite or SAP Business By Design Implementations
• Understanding of direct selling processes and procedures
• General understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design is highly desirable
• Understand internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures
• Excellent abilities in public communications and consensus building
• Excellent abilities to work in a team environment
• Genuine interest and takes pride mentoring junior staff
• Proficiency in Microsoft project
• PRINCE2 or other project management experience and certifications are a plus
• Fluent in English and German written and oral
• Willing to travel, office location will be Shanghai and London
