On behalf of our well-known client in Hamburg, we are currently looking for a qualified freelancer starting asap as a:Perl Developer
(C-)
Location: Hamburg
Start: ASAP
End: 31.03.2016, with the option to prolong for one more month in case of need.
5 days a week as an optimum, 4 acceptable
Necessary skills:
• Advanced Perl developer; able to modify / rewrite existing Perl code and add new perl code to existing code base
• Agile development / SCRUM
• Git
• Able to deal with high risk environment and sensible data (payment)
• Fluent in English
Bonus skills:
• Experience of data migration in a high risk / frequently updated data environment.
• Github
• Jira
• Fluent in German
Further information:
Project is in the high risk phase for the migration. In order to prepare a longer running shadow phase (old and new system running next to each other for comparison), we need to modify existing old perl code base to
• refactor code to transfer APIs to new app
• add triggers to get and keep both system in sync
We're looking for someone to join and jump on quickly to work on pre-defined tasks.
