Deutschland: Database Administrator SQL (f/m), Projekte und Ausschreibungen

For one of our dutch clients we are currently looking for a Database Administrator (f/m).

- Maintain SQL server databases 2005 and 2008,
- Perform software upgrades
- Perform software patching
- Deliver SQL server performance and tuning support to the customer
- Maintain (2nd / 3rd line incident handling and tuning).
- Participate in projects

- Extensive knowledge of SQL server 2005 (and possible 2008)
- Experience with fysical installation of SQL Server databases/hosting environments
- Experience with performance and tuning of SQL Server databases (on Instance, Database and SQL level)
- Experience to work in a SQL Server hosting
- Experience in advising application developers
- Knowledge of logical and physical datamodelling
- Experience with maintaining Oracle databases (9i and 10g)
- Experience with working in a DataWareHouse environment
- Experience with SQL Reporting Services

Work experience needed:

- 3 plus year SQL Server
- Certified SQL Server DBA (minimal "Database Administrator 2005") preferable 2008
- Experience with working in large complex environments
