Für unseren Kunden in Köln suchen wir ab April einen erfahrenen Experten (m/w) mit Schwerpunkt Compliance & Datensicherheit und sehr guten Deutsch- und Englischkenntnissen. Hintergrund ist die projektbezogene Unterstützung beim Aufbau einer international ausgerichteten neuen Abteilung mit Schwerpunkt Compliance & IT Governance vor dem Hintergund der Anforderungen aus IFRS & Solvency II.Tasks:
The role is to guarantee that the following processes are operated consistently across and in a timely manner
• governance standards process
• Compliance activities vis-à-vis of the group standards
• interface with corporate bodies and teams or external auditors
• ensuring that all required employees get the appropriate awareness about the standards when running their activities.
Data Privacy :
• Guarantee the internal compliancy with applicable regulations
• Implement policies on data privacy in accordance with security local laws.
• Assess the Data Privacy risks and mitigation measures in local/regional projects.
• Plans and directs privacy training and awareness programs.
• Provide assessment for the different projects and providers engagements
• Raise awareness within the entities/teams under scope
Compliance:
• Regulatory watch
• Guarantee the compliancy with local applicable regulations
• Implement and maintain the different processes assigned to compliance: Ethics, Anti-bribery, Sanctions, Conflicts of interest, Allegations
• Review and follow up the compliance risks (evaluate the impact on the operational risks model of the entity)
• Raise awareness
SKILLS :
• long term previous Data Privacy / Compliance experience (preferable including contract negotiation )
• Ability of tasks prioritization with a clear action plan defined.
• Develop an internal sense of urgency to complete tasks.
• Holds self and others accountable for delivering highquality results on time and within budget.
• Challenge of ineffective work processes and promote constructive alternatives.
• Use of the appropriate criteria to regularly evaluate work processes, services and deliverables.
