Leading International Telecoms company is currently seeking an experienced Chief Big Data Architect to design and optimize the Hadoop based Big Data platform.
Lead the design and optimization of current EU Cloud Big Data Architecture.
Participate in the evolution of the cloud big data global architecture roadmap.
Introduce next generation advanced offerings to the team on a regular basis.
Experienced in design and optimize big data solutions
Deep understanding of big data landscape, including eg Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, Hive, HBase, MongoDB, Cassandra.
Experienced in designing solutions for multiple large data warehouses with a good understanding of cluster and parallel architecture.
Experience in planning and designing of new generation data computing, storage and query engines.
Understanding of major programming languages like Java, Scala, PHP, Ruby, Python and/or
Experience with one of the large cloud-computing infrastructure solutions like AWS, Azure etc.
Able to benchmark systems, analyze system bottlenecks and make proposals.
Experience in cloud based platform with PB-level data query, data computing, data storage, Datamodelling and optimization of overall architecture. Familiar with Datamodelling methods preferably based on real business scenarios.
Big data deployment experience in stream/batch service architecture, build high availability, performance and secure data service systems
Experience in building various BI applications.
