For one of our clients we are looking for a Migration Engineering Architect.He will be working with a major global business in the financial services sector on perhaps the largest data centre programmes globally (DCC = Data Center Consolidation). Joining the programme architecture team to enable the migration of the old architecture to a cloud based infrastructure service for the group and its operating businesses
Requirements:
• Experience as architect in infrastructure migration projects (datacenter migrations etc.)
• Experience as a VMware/virtualization architect
• Broad technical knowledge in many areas: WAN / LAN / MPLS / VPN, Virtualization, Storage / SAN / NAS / Archiving, MS Exchange / SharePoint, IBM
• Experience of both migration and multi-discipline technologies
• Experienced with private, public or hybrid cloud
• Knowledge of technology trends and best practice
Languages:
• English - fluent
• German - fluent
Start: ASAP
Location 90% Munich, 10% Frankfurt/Stuttgart
