Beschreibung

• Coordination of purchasing activities in development programs, like cost reviews, supplier decisions and make-or-buy analysis based on customer requirements, time constraints and purchasing strategies
• Member of the simultaneous development teams for several projects and several Commodities (plastics, metals, electronics, TFT) up to production phase for different customer groups
• Implementation of the procurement processes in development projects until production start (pre-development phase and RFQ until 90 days after SOP)
• Identifying parts and tooling costs in the bidding phase of customer projects
• Responsibility of the purchasing budget during development phases
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and processes
• Increasing the profitability of programs through continuous improvement
• Supporting TQCM activities during program execution and after SOP
• Benchmarking internal R&D for price improvements by providing alternative solutions

• University or comparable degree as Industrial Engineer or Economics
• In depth understanding of purchasing tools and practices
• Experience in project environment
• Ability to cooperate with people of different levels inside/outside the company and to interact as a team to reach team and business objectives
• Ability to express information to different level of people
• Leading internal/external workshops as well corresponding negotiations
• Ability to take actions, decisions and to generate ideas
• Ability to recognize, respond to customer expectations with sense of urgency and even increased expectations
• Good knowledge of English language
• Good knowledge of German language nice to have
