Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,für unseren Endkunden suchen wir ab Anfang Februar 2017 externe Unterstützung.
The Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for automated tests for applications within Process IT. This individual will interact with business teams and software engineers to refine requirements, thoroughly test changes, correct issues, and coordinate software releases, using their proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Take ownership of software quality, using industry best practices for automation and manual testing of SW/ business functions
• Actively participate in scrum meetings, iteration planning and feature demos.
• Working on a product team, communicate testing estimates and status, while continually working toward the removal of project roadblocks
• Advocate use of agile test methodologies, such as test-driven development
• Provide your expertise and support to other members of the engineering teams, particularly in resolving discovered issues
Skills:
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 years QA experience, with demonstrable automation background
• Demonstrated experience with front and back end automation tools and techniques.
• Experienced in Agile application development approach.
• Automated HTTP/Web/REST testing experience (Selenium, Capybara, etc.)
• Programming experience with Java, JavaScript, Ruby. Scala experience optional
• Comfortable and willing to choose manual testing over automation when the circumstances dictate
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication (both oral and written) skills.
• Self-motivated, driven, resourceful and able to get things done.
• Enjoy working in fast-paced, collaborative, Agile environments
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly is a fundamental necessity.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience working with distributed teams
• Power industry experience
• Experience with continuous integration systems (Jenkins, Bamboo, Travis CI, etc.)
Languages:
• German; English
Start: ab 01.02.2017
Ende: bis 30.04.2017 + Option
Auslastung: 100% (fulltime)
Kontingent: 50 Stunden offsite und 500 Stunden onsite
Einsatzort: Essen
