I am currently seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to work with a client of mine that specialises in the space industry.

Rate: €75-€85ph
Duration: 2 yeas
Location: Bremen, Germany
Job Overview
The Bremen office of our client is the industrial centre of excellence for human spaceflight, launchers and space robotics in Europe.
For the structures department, involved in the development of the latest version of Europe's most advanced launcher systems, we are looking for a structural engineer with extensive experience on analysis for space projects.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Structural calculations and stress analysis of complex launcher structures;
Model creation from CAD data (Catia) using pre-processing software (eg PATRAN);
Static and dynamic calculations using the finite element method (eg NASTRAN);
Non-linear calculations
Dynamic Analysis
Requirements
Around 5 years of work experience in Structural Engineering in the aerospace industry, preferably on static analysis;
Strong knowledge of NASTRAN and PATRAN;
The ability to meet objectives on schedule and to achieve and coordinate workflows efficiently;
Strong communication skills
Assertive and persuasive personality;
Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing - German language skills are an advantage.
