Expert of Power Systems (m/f)

Your tasks:
- Research and development of new parts, components, solutions and ideas regarding Power Systems and Power Architecture to be used in the client's future power systems for fixed and wireless network as well as for data centers
- Focus on cooperation and support of other team members working on distribution unit prototypes
- Power electronic design and test of prototypes as well as documentation for devices such as HVDC transmitters, HVDC receivers, Solid State Switches
- Electrical design, schematic entry, PCB layout
- Software design, coding, software Testing
- Control circuit design, control algorithm development, selection of µC
- Work with suppliers and partners,
- Component selection
- Communication and cooperation with other engineers within and external to the Power Systems Group
Your qualifications
- Master degree or higher in power related field with strong scientific background
- Profound experience in electro-mechanical/power field including in-depth experience in information and telecom area
- Comprehensive knowledge of the theory in physics, material science, electrical contact, surface coating, corrosion protection
- Profound knowledge of electro mechanical components like connector, relay, contactor, miniature circuit breaker, safety fuse and the materials used therein
- Successful practices in power distribution design/electrical contact/circuit protection, etc.
- International standard experience is preferred
- Fluency in English and German
