For our international client we are looking for a SAP Basis Consultant in a long-term engagement.Role: SAP Basis Consultant
Location: Mostly remote, with travels to Turkey and Germany
Preferred Region: Romania, Slovakia and Czech Republic
Start: ASAP
Duration: Long-term (12 months plus)
Utilization: Full time
Tasks:
• Handle SAP BASIS activities for a SAP template or set of templates
• Daily monitoring and performing health-checks on the systems, reporting issues and taking corrective actions.
• Participate and contribute into the Release & Change Management activities for the business areas as applicable – like system refresh, deployment, client copy etc.
• Set-up, Monitor, Troubleshoot interfaces between SAP and other satellite systems.
• Perform monitoring, performance tuning, application of Hot Packs and OSS Notes.
• Work on TMS, Batch Job Management, Performance Optimization
Requirements:
Hands-on administration (installation, configuration, and upgrade) experience with:
• SAP R/3, ECC 5 or ECC 6 on a Unix/Oracle platform
• SAP new dimension products such as EP 6.0, BI 7.0, CRM 5.0, SRM and APO.
• English language skills
Experience with at least three ECC 5 or ECC 6 implementation, as well as experience in TMS , client strategy and maintenance, system performance tuning and monitoring, application of Hot Packs and OSS Notes, installations of new hardware and SAP software, upgrades and backup recovery procedures.
Project Experience:
• Experience in SAP Basis (defined service area )
• Experience in using and configuring SolMan 7.1 is a definite advantage
• Experience in SAP Basis area, covering ERP, SRM, CRM and BI systems
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
