Business/Data Analyst:- Skills:
o strong analytical skils when interviewing SMEs (good ability to quickly separate symptoms from problems)
o strong moderating skills in workshops and interviews
o good skills in MS Powerpoint to visualize complex subjects
o >8 years experience in setting up metadata and data quality procedures in processes and projects
o practical knowledge of methods, frameworks and tools about business glossaries, information modelling, metadata management and data quality
o experience with at least one successful introduction of data governance
o Hands-on experience with:
? domain modelling
? designing policies and procedures for information management (corporate wide) and data quality
- Tasks:
o Analyse quality problems in the business domain (financial services especially leasing)
o Redesign reports from data warehouse on a business level
o design business data lineage and help to prepare for technical data lineage
o Create GAP-Analysis (business requirements vs. current technical implementations)
