Contract Duration: Until 31.12.2016 initially and extension possible until end of 2017.
Workload: 100%
Travel Required: Upto 25% of travel expected (to project location) in 2017, if extended.
Role Description:
The candidate will be contributing in the area of Travel and Expense Management which is part of the SAP R/3 Human Resources system of our client. As a team member in the exciting global project "TRAM" (Travel and Expense Management), he/she will manage roll-outs and support the SAP based Travel Management solution as IT Project manager globally.
Tasks:
- Work as an IT Project and Application Manager for the TRAM rollouts partnering with the Business Project Manager.
- Work alongside Business specialists from Finance and HR to analyze the requirements.
- Design system solutions within IT team to support the new processes.
- Implement and configure the agreed solutions and be responsible for support and optimization of that solution.
- Safeguard the TRAM Global Template.
- Work with an international team. TRAM core team members currently located in Germany, Poland, Singapore & United States.
- Support the TRAM solution globally.
Requirements:
- Senior Project Manager with 3 years' experience in HR SAP (HCM) Travel Expenses customization and extensive knowledge in SAP HR, especially in the core modules of Personnel Administration and Organizational Management, and in connecting Finance systems via ALE. Additionally, a good understanding of functional aspects of HR and Finance and the respective business processes.
The ideal candidate would also have:
- Experience with payment and posting processes within SAP HCM, basis knowledge of SAP Payroll.
- Knowledge in Employee Self Service travel Webdynpro applications.
- Experience with Credit Card Integration within SAP and knowledge with Online Booking Tool interfaces, for example Cytric and GetThere.
- Experience with Archiving of travel documents with OpenText.
- Understanding of ABAP programming, Webdynpro ABAP and Smartforms/HR form skills - transport/change management.
- Experience in UI5 development and Front End technology.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with business customers and IT specialists.
- Team orientation and readiness to work in a global environment as part of a virtual team across time zones, along with demonstrated experience in successful global projects and global.
To summarize the skills required:
For the position the main focus is IT Project and Application Management. SAP Travel knowledge is very important, since there will be configurations in SAP Travel which have to be understood. Additionally, the candidate would need to write the specifications for the developer. Therefore a good understanding of SAP in general and developing knowledge is important. Since the candidate will work with a global team and would need to communicate a lot, English is essential.
Language Skills:
Must have fluent English, both written & spoken. German is nice to have.
