Your tasks:
- Linux kernel driver development
- Integration of software components into fully functional software systems (e.g. gateways, routers, set-top-boxes)
- Verification of the implemented algorithms and methods on the target platforms to prove the expected power savings and behaviour
- Document the implemented design and APIs by creating documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, wikis and code comments
- Comply with project plans, industry standards and coding rules
- Produce power consumption charts and tables to document the current status and compliance with existing energy efficiency standards and energy labels (e.g. EnergyStar)
- Integration of software components into regression test framework
- Design, development, implementation and test on power optimized CPE systems
Your qualifications
- Experience in software engineering
- Hands-on experience in embedded software development
- Experience in Linux kernel development
- Ability to develop highly efficient software in C
- Working with software development tools for version control, bug tracking, documentation, review and code analysis
- Software debugging and problem solving
- English and German skills
