HW Design Support Engineer (m/f)

Your tasks:
- Support the HW design team in schematic design and layout, especially in optimizing pin-out of integrated circuit
- Extraction of S-parameters of PCB
- Simulation of signal and power integrity
- Collaborate with PCB and PCBA suppliers in order to guarantee feasibility
- Develop production test software/scripts in order to ensure functionality of PCB design (functional production test)
- Documentation of implementation, setups and results
- Comply with project plans, industry standards and design rules
Your qualifications
- Experience in schematic entry and PCB layout
- Expert in using design tool Cadence Concept HDL and Cadence Allegro
- Hands-on experience with simulation tools Sigrity (Cadence), ADS (Agilent), and ANSYS (Ansoft)
- Knowledge of common PCB technologies in CPE gateway/router market
- SW skills for developing scripts and test routines for functional HW test
- English and German language skills
