Software Engineer - Embedded Linux

My client is a German specialist in consulting and development for leading customers from the automotive, medical and hi-tech electronics industries. With more than 20 years of smart products experience as a one-stop partner, my client helps to develop new markets and is looking for an Embedded Linux specialist to support the development team in medical department.

Your role:
You act as a Software Developer in Embedded Linux within a development team of 6 people delivering functionality for a medical device. Your role will be to script a concept and to conduct the implementation. This role will extend from requirements analysis, through to design and implementation. You will work with the test team to determine the best ways to verify the product functionality.
Requirements:
- Good C/C++ knowledge
- Development experience in Linux system programming and Embedded programming
- Experienced with ARM architecture
- Extensive experience developing Microcontroller based control software for industrial applications
- CAN protocols
- Project experience in medical industry
- Fluent in English and German
This is an immediate start contract position, paying a competitive hourly rate.
