Job Description:
The IT&S Business Analyst role is responsible for the design of pay rules, work rules, reporting, interfaces and navigation within a country. Interprets business requirements and develops business and/or functional specifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Gather the functional requirement for application requirements specifications
- Work with analysts and contribute to finalizing and prioritizing the functional requirements
- Carry out business process mapping and business process analysis wherever needed
- Review UAT scenarios and training materials
- Finalize scope, requirements, design and establish a base-line on which delivery of a solution can commence
- Seek effective business solutions through improvements of new or changed processes and organization
- Manage requests for application of changes to base-lined requirements.
- Identify the impact on business requirements of interim (eg migration) scenarios as well as the required end position
- Review of testing approach and materials to ensure business requirements are met
- Implement the Client's authorized and approved standards, guidelines, and procedures
- Document all requirements in required formats (eg, business blueprint, design documents, functional specifications, data models)
- Assist in Third Line Support of production issue resolution as it pertains to business processes
- Perform configuration per the design documents
- Unit test and review objects developed from functional specifications
- Assist testers to develop test scripts and to perform testing
- Design functional data models
- Responsible for ensuring the right level of functional knowledge in the technical team
- Review of testing approach and materials to ensure business requirements are met
- Assist in Third Line Support of production issue resolution as it pertains to business processes
- Audit business blueprint/design documents for configuration readiness
- Perform configuration per the design documents
- Unit test and review objects developed from functional specifications
- Assist Senior Tester to develop integration test scripts and to perform integration testing
- Initiate and influence relationships with senior stakeholders and act as a single point of contact for them.
- Communicate effectively so that customers, suppliers and other stakeholders understand and agree what will meet their needs.
- Validate strategies, requirements and business needs
- Conduct feasibility studies, produce high-level and detailed business models.
- Prepare business cases and take into account the implications of change on the organization and all stakeholders
Key Accountabilities include:
- Understand and document business/functional needs around time entry and scheduling
- Work with vendor to configure Kronos application and to support the Client policies and regulatory requirements ensuring that the approach is consistent with Kronos development standards
- Work with other applications to develop requirements for interfaces between Kronos and those other applications. Partner with Kronos to design these interfaces so that they are consistent with the Client standards. Coordinate testing of interfaces with other applications and validate that interfaces meet specifications
- Work with business to develop report specifications and approve Kronos proposed report design ensuring consistency with established standards; validate that reports meet specifications prior to end user acceptance testing
- Support testing activities, reviewing test scripts
- Provide bubble support for implementations and transfer knowledge to ongoing Kronos support resources, ensuring that documentation is current and accurate
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master degree with a Business or Technical emphasis, or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years in Information Technology position
- Bachelors Level Degree
- Kronos specific skills
-Knowledge in Kronos implementation

- Expertise in leading the requirements definition process
