RAN Engineer HUAWEI 2G/3G/4G

We are currently recruiting for our client, a Global Telecommunications Organisation for a RAN Engineer to join their project in Germany.

Position Title: RAN Engineer HUAWEI 2G/3G/4G
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months rolling contract

Key tasks:
- Main Focus central support of deployment team related to RAN Hardware Huawei DBS3900, BTS3900 and/or NSN Flexi 2G/3G/4G Hardware
- Analyse existing and upcoming customer requirements and guidelines about RAN Hardware Huawei & NSN
- Support regional teams with design, configuration, ordering, optimization, acceptance, commissioning, testing and support of related nodes
- Definition of installation accessories, preparation of rollout supporting documents and tools
- Clarification with customer of RAN Hardware and Configuration related questions
- Deliver technical training and learning solutions for central & regional teams and ensure that assigned courses/modules are delivered with desired quality
- Take active part in the course training material preparation

Required skills and experience:
- Language skill: German and English advanced
- Deep technical background of Huawei DBS3900, BTS3900 and/or NSN Flexi 2G/3G/4G Hardware
- General knowledge about RAN system architecture and network elements (GSM/WCDMA/LTE)
- Knowledge of Core or transmission protocols & technologies is a plus
- General knowledge of German Standards DIN/VDE ( e.g. lightning protection, electrical installation, H&S, etc)
- Knowledge of RAN antenna & feeder systems and components e.g. Feeder, MHA, Combiner, RET and HF measurements DTF, RL, PIM
- Ability to work in a multi-culture team at central office and partial at regional premises
- Highest grade on flexibility and ability to take/force decisions
- Cooperation with other local departments e.g. Integration, Sourcing, Supply, Logistic
- Excellent communications skills
- Knowledge sharing ability
- Office tools e.g. MS Office, SAP
