Brief project description:
The client is requested to provide onsite datacenter services for a customer in Germany (Ingolstadt). The activities which are needed onsite, have been described in the attached document. The service provider is requested to comply with the set of requirements and provide prices for the items as shown in the table within the paragraph 1CPrice model 1D. All costs (like travel) must be included.
scope of work: Activities
* Replacement, installation and configuration of hardware within a datacenter environment. Examples: (de)mounting Servers in racks, connect to LANswitch, SANswitch, power, cable management, connect and configure UPSsystem, add or replace harddisks in storage systems, solve hardware related incidents.
* Maintain documentation and update operating manuals when needed.
* Delete data on hard disks when needed, according to guidelines/work instructions.
* Software/firmware installations that cannot be performed remotely, based on predefined work instructions.
* Restart systems when requested.
* (Software) tools that are needed to support the activities, will be provided by the client.
* Outofscope:
activities related to the datacenter facilities (eg airconditioning, security systems, fire protection). Service window
* Onsite presence within 15 minutes at the datacenters on Monday - Friday
8:00 - 17: standby for emergency incidents with reaction time of 15 minutes and presence on site within 30 minutes
* Onsite presence at the datacenters for planned maintenance and projects.
