Your tasks:
- Operate IT systems related to business processes independently including monitoring, error handling and performance tuning
- Collaborate with other IT departments and business departments within a 2nd level support
- Create infrastructure and operations concepts for fulfilment of business demands
- Support or drive IT projects with the goal to implement new IT systems or to consolidate or to harmonize, including concept and feasibility study
Your qualifications
- Thorough understanding of EDI processing (Electronic Data Interchange)
- Thorough understanding of EDI/B2B integration platforms and/or ERP systems
- Thorough understanding of EDI message standards (like EDIFACT, ANSI.X12, VDA, X.400, XML and IDOC) and EDI communication standards (like AS2, FTP, OFTP V2, RFC, RosettaNet, SFTP)
- Deep knowledge about EDI Service Providers (like Deutsche Telekom, GXS, Retarus, Sterling Commerce)
- Strong English and German language skills
