We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company to support their access network projects in Germany.

Position Title: Access Network Engineer
Position Type: Fixed Term Employment
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Initial 2years + extension
Location: Frankfurt area

Responsibilities:
- Definition of standard external & internal procedures for Access Network Planning based on customer requirements, especially consider the offshore delivery
- External and internal interface for project coordination
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical configuration and support service to our customers
- Knowledge transfer of all Access Network planning and implementation process to other colleagues
- Conduct project implementation and technical supervision and training to customers, subcontractors or service partners
- Update of customer workflow & project management tools
- Provide pre-sales support for testing, bidding or workshops

Requirements:
- University degree in telecommunications or electronics or equivalent education
- 5 years experience with Access Network Projects
- Sound technical knowledge of following products and solutions: DSLAM, FTTx, GPON, MDF Planning
- Experienced in LAN Switch, TCP/IP, DSLAM, xDSL, FTTx, GPON, PPP, OSPF, MPLS, Vectoring, active Ethernet
- Familiar with network management system such as SNMP, TL1, Unix, Linux, Sybase or oracle.
- Fluent German and English skills
- Able to travel in Germany
