Seeking an Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS, VPC, EC2, CloudWatch, CloudFormation) for a contract based in Berlin to work for a world renowned business - (English speaking).
Perfect for an DevOps Engineer (Java, VPC, EC2, CloudWatch, CloudFormation) who wants to work for a prestigious and innovative market leading organisation.
The central task of the Senior DevOps Engineer (Java, VPC, EC2, CloudWatch, CloudFormation) will be to help the scrum team take ownership of a Middleware component, which has been maintained and owned by someone else outside of Berlin until now.
The team consists of C++ Developers with hardly any Java and AWS skills so as part of their role the Senior DevOps Engineer (Java, VPC, EC2, CloudWatch, CloudFormation) will fill the team's knowledge gaps by training them mainly on the appropriate AWS Services.
Skills/Experience required:
- Expert knowledge of AWS, in particular VPC, EC2, CloudWatch and CloudFormation. Experience with the deployment of a Java service in AWS using these technologies.
- Working knowledge of Java 8 and Python.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to share knowledge gladly and easily.
- Ability to familiarise oneself quickly with new code in a self-taught manner.
