RF Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an RF Engineer to join their business in Germany.
Position Title: RF Engineer
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: May 2016
Location: NRW region, Germany
Responsibilities:
- Organize optimization activities for network consolidation project in region West (Duesseldorf).
- Communicate with customer as interface for radio network planning and optimization related affairs.
- Radio network planning data collection, review and generate planning data report.
- Prepare radio network planning report.
- Prepare and implement benchmark test for consolidation clusters and generate test analysis report.
- Review and propose detail power/configuration/parameter/neighbor design for network consolidation clusters.
- Monitor cluster KPI performance and provide KPI improvement proposals if KPI is not as good as expected.
- Technical communication and clarification (eg RF parameters workshop) with customers and subcontractors.
- Support project management team.
- Help in establishing technical processes.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in German and English speaker.
- More than 5 years radio network optimization experience in GSM/UMTS/LTE technologies.
- Familiar with Huawei, NSN, ZTE equipment.
- Successful team cooperation experience in similar project.
- Electrical Engineering (Telecommunication) Degree
- Expertise in 3GPP protocols and generic algorithms.
- Familiarity with drive tests and post processing tools for optimization (eg TEMS, NEMO, ACTIX and Rhode & Schwarz).
- Team spirit and good intercultural/interpersonal communication skills.
