Position: Network Engineer
Location: Frankfurt
LOA: 6+ months



Client is looking for a strong Network Engineer. Client is migrating from RedBack to Juniper network. Manager is looking for a core R&S network engineer with strong knowledge with protocols mpls, ospf, bgp. A strong networking R&S with the protocols. They will also be responsible for planning, design, equipment evaluation, project management, installation specifications, and test & acceptance for their networks. This position works in close collaboration with many departments. Other duties include, maintaining inside plant records, providing engineering and technical expertise and support for both internal and external customers, and plan overall equipment layouts in central offices and remote facilities. A strong familiarity with DLCs, fiber transport networks, packet/internet technologies (ATM, TCP/IP, VoIP, MPLS), xDSL and access technologies, outside plant design, and central office infrastructure is desired.




Skills:

- Network Design Engineer 7+ years MUST
- Juniper exp 4-5+ years MUST
- OSPF/BGP protocol exp MUST
- ATM/VoIP/MPLS/TCP/IP exp (ok if missing 1 or 2) MUST


- DSL and Access Technologies PLUS
- Outside Plant Design PLUS
- Central Office Infrastructure PLUS
