Für unseren Kunden aus dem Raum Frankfurt am Main suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt einen IT Consultant / Requirements Engineer (m/w).
Background:
Our client offers three different mobile apps for iOS and Android (iPhone, iPad, Android). These were developed by different providers, with different scopes and requirements, and include different features and designs, making them rather difficult to maintain.
Our client has recently re-launched their website, with Liferay as the underlying CMS, to accelerate the editorial process and save cost.
Brand and the respective design are one of our greatest assets, resulting in the design aspect playing a very prominent role when it comes to our digital channels.

Scope:
The goal is to re-launch the apps, using a development platform that consolidates development (and, later on, maintenance) across all relevant mobile platforms regarding business logic, features, content and design in a way that allows is more cost-efficient than today’s setup.
For content maintenance of the apps, we want to leverage the Liferay CMS as much as possible.
From a general perspective, we see the following options:
•An HTML5 based hybrid App
•Apps written in a language and with a platform that can generate native apps for all platforms out of a common codebase (e.g. Xamarin)
•Limiting the development to one Android-based app that works well on all device form factors (Phone, Phablet, Tablet etc.) and can be run on Android, Blackberry and soon Windows Phone plus one Universal iOS App for all Apple form factors (iPhone, iPad, iPod)


Aufgaben:
*In a first phase of the project
- analyzing the status quo of the apps in sufficient detail
- to recommend the most appropriate option for a development platform
*In a second phase
- issue a request for proposal (RFP) for a “re-implementation” project for the apps based on that recommendation
- specification the (technical) requirements for the RFP, requirements definition and the creation of a robust specification

Für diese Aufgabenstellung sollten Sie über die folgenden Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen verfügen:
* Berufserfahrung als Consultant im oben beschriebenen Aufgabenfeld
* Gute Deutsch- und vor allem sehr gute Englischkenntnisse
