Our biopharmaceutical client is looking for an experienced Plant Engineering Manager to provide support during a large investment and growth programme. The successful candidate will be offering support, whilst managing the daily activities of the Plant Engineering team, as well as being a system owner for Clean Utilities and HVAC.Location: Düsseldorf Region, Germany
Duration: 12 months
• Assure Compliant state of Clean Utilities and HVAC
• Asset owner for Clean Utilities, Plant Utilities, HVAC and Facilities
• DR/CAPA/Change owner for Clean Utilities and HVAC
• Project Owner for Clean Utilities, HVAC, Plant Engineering & Facilities projects
• Review of clean utility trend data
• Participate in QNA, MNA, SRA
• Update, review & approve SOPs
• Vendor review and selection; qualification and audit
• Safety co-ordinator for Plant Engineering
Systems owned:
Purified Water; WFI; Clean Steam; HVAC; CIP skid; Acid & Caustic Dosing; GMP Nitrogen; Inactivation; Neutralization; Chilled Water; Plant Steam; Facility inc. clean rooms; Heating hot water.
Leadership:
• Manage department KPI's
• Ongoing Training and Mentoring of staff
• Perform performance reviews
• Co-ordinate daily tasks of team
Requirements:
• Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Process or Biochemical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Expert in the operation and maintenance of utility systems such as listed above.
• Extensive knowledge in the operation of Cleanroom environments (ISO Class 7 & 8 // Grade C)
• Experienced in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing
• Experience of working in a controlled/regulated industry (FDA/EMA)
• Experience in team management.
• High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ideally fluency in German and English
