Head of IT Europe (m/f)
Key Tasks:
• European IT coordination of global and European IT projects.
• Responsibility and accountability for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company's computing needs.
• Manage information technology and computer systems.
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
• Manage staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
Your Profile:
• Bachelor degree, in Computer Science, Information or Technology Systems, Engineering or related fields
• Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience with a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive information technology experience, ideally in retail industry
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
• Expertise in data center management and data governance
• Must be able to identify and understand business benefits realized by implementation of new processes or systems
• Must have experience defining and measuring key performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities; know-how to recommend and implement initiatives to tackle these opportunities
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
• Ability to manage personnel or teams
• Relationship builder, capable of influencing and collaborating in a matrixed environment
• Communicative and integrative person with ability to force European team spirit.
