My client, a top 5 medical devices company is currently seeking a packaging expert for a 9 month project.Role: Packaging Consultant
Start: ASAP
Duration: 9 month
Job level: Experienced/Senior
Rate: Negotiable (depending on experience)
Requirements:
- Engineering degree (e.g. packaging, biomedical, mechanical etc)
- Thorough understanding of packaging and medical device related requirements
- Strong packaging regulation/standard knowledge (ISO 11607)
- ISO 13485, 21CFR820, ISO 14971 and Validation experience
- Experience in CAPA and root cause analysis and risk management
- Ability to work in a matrix/cross functional environment
As a lot of related documents (old once) are written in German, the applicant should have sound German skills. Very good English is a must.
Duties:
- Various packaging projects (including designing, developing, specifying and verifying a wide variety of package designs)
- Developing the requirements and specifications for new packaging equipment
- Packaging related CAPA management
- Risk assessment
- Design verifications and performance testing
- Process validation
